The Successful Parent’s Toolbox™ Seminar Series
Every child deserves a skilled parent. Every loving parent can be one.
What legacy do you want to leave behind?
Our kids are very precious, complex, wondrous beings. As parents, our hearts' desire is to see our children competently face life’s challenges, by creating kids with high levels of emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills.
We are a new generation of parents, committed to attaining knowledge about forging relationships with our children that are based on authenticity, acceptance of emotion, and respectful communication.
Leaving such a legacy does not happen by accident.
  • 5% of kids are fighting to a degree that it results in physical injuries
  • 12% of kids are damaging property
  • 23% of kids participated in binge drinking at least once this past month
  • 24% of kids are feeling depressed
  • 29% of kids have stolen money from their own parents
  • 44% of kids have smoked marijuana
  • 50-60% of kids are having sex
    • 1/3 are having sex with multiple partners
    • 4 in 10 of sexually active teens did not use a condom the last time they had sex
    • 4% of these kids are contracting STDs
Are you willing to let your child be a statistic?... NO!
Parents share with me all the time that telling their kids “no” or lecturing them for their bad choices does little to quiet their fears within.
Well, as a mom listening to this, I knew I needed to share with each of you that there is a more effective method for protecting our kids against their own potential worst choices.
This is going to sound really unorthodox, but I need to teach you as parents how to let your kids make tons of mistakes before the age of 13. I also need to equip you with the skills to create children who can think for themselves. And this is one of the core purposes of The Successful Parent’s Toolbox seminar series – to move parents from worrying about their kids' choices to training their kids how to make wise choices.
At Eckert Psychology & Education Centre …
We believe that successfully raising a child is the most challenging, demanding, and rewarding job any person will ever hold, and yet realize that children do not arrive with instruction manuals!
We recognize that even the most dedicated and educated parents will at times confront issues and difficulties during child-rearing that leave them perplexed, anxious, and uncertain. As well, we know that many dedicated and educated parents simply wish to learn additional ways to foster confidence, responsibility, mental health, optimism, and resiliency in their children. Relying on the latest findings and innovations in the field of parenting research, Kimberly Eckert, our Founder, has developed The Successful Parent’s Toolbox™ Seminar Series. She is here to support parents in their highest calling – raising a well-adjusted child.
